Retro and nostalgic Windows 95 UI Kit

3

Relive the awesome 90's design trends by using our Windows 95 UI Kit. It features over 50 unique Bootstrap 4 Components including the infamous Windows 95 icons.

We've carefully recreated the windows cards and all components have their versions in the three basic colors: grey, teal and blue.

List of components:

  • Default Buttons
  • Bordered Buttons
  • Buttons Color Variations
  • Form Controls
  • Windows 95 Checkboxes
  • Windows 95 Radio Buttons
  • Original Windows Cards with variable colors
  • Windows 95 bar as a Bootstrap 4 Navbar
  • Nav Tabs
  • Basic Typography

We also offer a full documentation with available code snippets. We used NPM to manage our dependencies and jQuery for a little bit of magic.

The project is very easy to set up, all you need to do is download the zip and open the index.html page from your folder.

Folder structure

We believe that being transparent when it comes to the code base and the file structure can make you better understand how it is going to be like to actually work with Windows 95 UI.

Below you can check out the folder structure of this template, and by hovering over each item you can also read an explanation of what the folder contains and what its role is.

You need only HTML, CSS and Javascript?

Don't worry, we got you covered. We have a folder called html&css which includes only the basic HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript technologies.

  • src

Great framework, love the accessibility of the framework and the vintage aesthetic. In addition Themesberg has even responded to my email inquiries about their framework within a matter of an hour on the weekend!

I love the look of this UI kit and it's easy to work with. Unfortunately though the folder structure of the download is not the same as on the website and the icon sprites are missing.

Yes I do like the UI a lot. It looks clean and works relatively well on most Devices. I have noticed that the Mobile layout has it's issues especially formatting and only really works when in landscape mode. Also tab formatting isn't great but works
